| Location: Logan,Ut,United States Member Since: Jul 14, 2013 Gender: Male Goal Type: Other Running Accomplishments: My very first race was the Top of Utah Half Marathon. I finished in 01:29:45. Even though it wasn't amazing, I took 3rd place in my age division which was a huge accomplishment for myself. After that I did a large amount of 5 and 10K's, Ragnar's, etc. In 2012 I put together and Ultra Ragnar Team. After this I started to focus on shorter races and worked towards running track with Utah State University. As I was getting close to running with the team, I met Cody Draper. He introduced me to trail running....I'm now a trail runner! Just did my first ultra marathon two weeks ago...Logan Peak. I finished in 5th place and got under my goal of 5 hours.
Short-Term Running Goals: In the next two years, I'd like to run a 50K and a 50 miler. If those two races go well, I'd like to do the Bear 100 in 2 years from this summer. Long-Term Running Goals: I'm not sure how much of a goal this is...it's more of a wish that's way towards the stars. I'd like to eventually get good enough that I have offers to be sponsored as a runner. But my actual long term goals are:
1. A 100 miler 2. Win an ultra marathon. 3. Be apart of the 80 year old marathon runner club Personal: I'm single! The only exciting thing going on in my life is I'm getting into trail running! |

| Got up early and did Cody' "Provicence Star" with him and Fan. We went pretty quick. I was feeling really good this moring. It was awesome getting my run done for the day by 7 a.m. Wish I could do that more often.

| Did a slow and easy long run today. Went from my house up to the BST and headed over to first dam. Then I did the First to Prov run via Deer Fence that Cody, Fan and myself do so much. Along deer fence I saw a dead deer...completely devoured by what appeared to be a mtn. lion (mtn. lion tracks). Use the new Pearl Izumi M2 on the run. They were amazing like always!

| Did the Green Canyon half marathon run tonight with Cody, Zach and Fan. It was very icy and uneven up green....rolled my ankle a lot and kind of hurt the back of my leg right behind my knee. We went at a great pace though. Fun run!

| Got up early and ran with Cody. We went from Main street up to the river trail via canal trail. We had a good talk about marriage. Cody is a wise man. We'll see if I take his advice to heart. Went pretty slow and was very sore

| Promised a boy at work I'd take him running so I took him today. This kid hasn't ran since his marathon in October....could totally tell he was a little out of shape but he did pretty awesome. Had some good conversation about his treatment and progression. Great and relaxing run
