| Location: Logan,Ut,United States Member Since: Jul 14, 2013 Gender: Male Goal Type: Other Running Accomplishments: My very first race was the Top of Utah Half Marathon. I finished in 01:29:45. Even though it wasn't amazing, I took 3rd place in my age division which was a huge accomplishment for myself. After that I did a large amount of 5 and 10K's, Ragnar's, etc. In 2012 I put together and Ultra Ragnar Team. After this I started to focus on shorter races and worked towards running track with Utah State University. As I was getting close to running with the team, I met Cody Draper. He introduced me to trail running....I'm now a trail runner! Just did my first ultra marathon two weeks ago...Logan Peak. I finished in 5th place and got under my goal of 5 hours.
Short-Term Running Goals: In the next two years, I'd like to run a 50K and a 50 miler. If those two races go well, I'd like to do the Bear 100 in 2 years from this summer. Long-Term Running Goals: I'm not sure how much of a goal this is...it's more of a wish that's way towards the stars. I'd like to eventually get good enough that I have offers to be sponsored as a runner. But my actual long term goals are:
1. A 100 miler 2. Win an ultra marathon. 3. Be apart of the 80 year old marathon runner club Personal: I'm single! The only exciting thing going on in my life is I'm getting into trail running! |

| Decided to try running. Did the apt to green...only went up .50 miles up greeen cause the snow was super slushy. So I turned around and went to the roads. My knee felt great. But....the top of my foot really started to hurt. It actually hurts a lot. Not sure if I'm gonna take more time off or not...cause I need to start training for Zion!

| Takin it easy! Did a road run today. Only did seven cause I don't wanna over do it with my foot. The first mile sucked....but, I loosened my shoe up a bit and that helped a ton! Also did a freakin intense cross fit work out. Part of the workout was 6 straight minutes of burpee's....I'd much rather run a 100 miles.

| Today ended up being a big work out day. Woke up and decided to only do 6 miles so I can study for my stats test. Also did a pretty intense cross fit work out. Then Cody was going CC Skiing. So i went to the ORP and rented a pair. That was kinda fun.. It was my first time and apparently the snow wasn't the greatest for it. Then right after that, I had a basketball game where there was only 4 of us...so there was a lot of running for 32 minutes. Definitely felt the effects of today.

| Did green canyon. Felt good to get on the trails again. The lower part of green was awful. It was an ice rink. Had to go pretty slow over that. But it felt great. Running is the best

| Was extremely sick all day. Wasn't going to run but Cody's invite text to run with him was very appealing. So I joined him and joe for their run. But, I quickly realized I made a poor choice. I was so exhausted....I felt bonked right away. But I made it to seven and then called it a night.

| Did my normal road run. Except...I actually had some energy! It felt good to not drag my feet for 10 miles. Still not 100%...but I'm hopeful the sickness is leaving! Also did a fun endurance cross fit work out. It felt good to destroy everybody on it. Sit ups, jump ropes and two 400 m runs and one 800 m run. So I got an extra mile of running today from cross fit

| Finally getting back to 100%. Wasn't quite there yet but I'm getting close. Went on a run with Cody and Joe. Went from first dam and did BST north. Halfway point was the top of SV hill. Cody cracked a pretty funny joke as we were peeing on the top of SV hill. Weather was amazing. Shorts and a tee shirt.
