| Location: Logan,Ut,United States Member Since: Jul 14, 2013 Gender: Male Goal Type: Other Running Accomplishments: My very first race was the Top of Utah Half Marathon. I finished in 01:29:45. Even though it wasn't amazing, I took 3rd place in my age division which was a huge accomplishment for myself. After that I did a large amount of 5 and 10K's, Ragnar's, etc. In 2012 I put together and Ultra Ragnar Team. After this I started to focus on shorter races and worked towards running track with Utah State University. As I was getting close to running with the team, I met Cody Draper. He introduced me to trail running....I'm now a trail runner! Just did my first ultra marathon two weeks ago...Logan Peak. I finished in 5th place and got under my goal of 5 hours.
Short-Term Running Goals: In the next two years, I'd like to run a 50K and a 50 miler. If those two races go well, I'd like to do the Bear 100 in 2 years from this summer. Long-Term Running Goals: I'm not sure how much of a goal this is...it's more of a wish that's way towards the stars. I'd like to eventually get good enough that I have offers to be sponsored as a runner. But my actual long term goals are:
1. A 100 miler 2. Win an ultra marathon. 3. Be apart of the 80 year old marathon runner club Personal: I'm single! The only exciting thing going on in my life is I'm getting into trail running! |

| Todays run was SLOW AND FREEZING. My legs were dead which caused me to run slow. The snow was blowing everywhere. My face and hands went numb pretty quick. Definitely went slower.

| Today my ANT stick for the Garmin stopped working. So I can't upload anything to strava and get accurate readings. Anyway, did first dam to Deer Fence then over to Providence. Went with Cody, Fan and Alex (I think that is his name....) I was feeling really fresh tonight and was able to go at a fast pace. Lead the whole way over. On the way back, Fan was feeling great and just took off. It was a great run.

| Merry Christmas. Got my Pearls today. Went out and gave them a go. Did a run around Cornish. Went up in to the hills/mountains behind my house and explored. The snow was deep and the mud was slick. Couldn't go fast at all. Fun run though

| Went to first dam and was going to do a snow run. Had my spikes and everything. But 2 problems arose. 1, the snow was shin deep and I had ankle socks. So, my legs went numb within five minutes. 2, my chain broke....brand new too. I'm having bad luck with my equipment. I headed up to the upper canal and made it to the section that cuts down to the rock climbing wall. So, I turned around and did a road loop. It was pretty darn chilly
